Easter weekend started out with dying eggs. Peyton thought this was pretty cool and lots of fun. They turned out great!
The day before Easter brings an Easter Egg Hunt that Papa has been running for years! This year he took a step back, so hopefully next year he can help Peyton find even more candy (like he needs it!). Even with a false start, Peyton was able to get a bucket full of candy and a yummy chocolate bunny.
First thing Easter morning Peyton noticed something hiding in Nana's kitchen. He ran out there right away and found egg after egg. The Easter Bunny had come! It was so fun to follow him around Nana and Papa's house looking for eggs. And then for him to finally find his basket full of goodies :)
After everything was found we headed to church and then brunch with Great Grandma Lucy, Uncle Dave, Aunt Kelli, Ryan and Cyle. And of course, I didn't get any pictures of this. But we had a nice time with everyone.
